This is a general-purpose terms page covering use of the Quepath website and free tools. It is provided as a starting point and has not been reviewed by a lawyer — please have it checked against your specific requirements before relying on it. Paid client engagements are additionally governed by their own signed quotation/agreement.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using this website or any of its tools, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. Our services
Quepath provides custom software development, cybersecurity consultation, cloud/DevOps services, and a set of free, passive security-scanning tools available on this website.
3. Free security tools — use "as is"
The email, website, URL, SSL, DNS, breach, and password tools are provided free of charge, for informational purposes, "as is" and without warranty of any kind. They perform passive checks only (public DNS records and HTTP response headers) — no port scanning, exploitation, or intrusive testing is performed.
These tools are not a substitute for a professional security audit or penetration test, and a good grade does not guarantee your systems are free of vulnerabilities. We are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of a free scan result.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use our tools to scan a domain, website, or system you do not own or have explicit authorization to test;
- Attempt to abuse, overload, or automate high-volume requests against our tools or forms;
- Submit false, malicious, or spam content through our contact, feedback, or scan forms;
- Use the website to distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access to any part of our systems.
We reserve the right to block or rate-limit access from any source we reasonably believe is violating these terms.
5. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and code on this website belong to Quepath unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reused without permission.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quepath is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or its free tools.
7. Client engagements
Paid work — software development, security consulting, quotations issued through our client portal (QMS), etc. — is governed by the specific agreement or quotation accepted for that engagement, which takes precedence over these general terms where the two conflict.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
